7. Niagara Falls
Niagara Falls is a set of massive waterfalls located on the Niagara River, on the border between Canada and the United States. It consists of three distinct waterfalls; Horseshoe Falls, American Falls and Bridal Veil Falls, which collectively boast the highest water flow rate on the globe. Six million cubic feet of water flows over Niagara Falls every minute, offering what is undoubtedly one of the most spectacular views in North America.
Travelers come here to enjoy the famous red rocks. Hundreds of hiking trails will lead you to some fantastic vistas, while a trip to Red Rock State Park will fully immerse you in crimson. You’ll hear about the five vortexes – areas in the red rocks that are said to possess increased electric and magnetic energy and that can imbue calming and euphoric feelings in people who visit the sites. One of the most photographed scenes in the southwest is towering Cathedral Rock reflected in the waters of Oak Creek at Red Rock Crossing. It should come as no surprise that the picnic area located at that same site is as popular as it is beautiful.
