9. Gamma Hydroxybutyric Acid GHB ($660 per liter)

GHB is a naturally occurring substance found in the human body’s nervous system. GHB is also known as 4-hydroxybutanoic acid. It is most commonly used as an anesthetic to cause insensitivity to pain during surgeries. As a drug, it’s often referred to as “liquid ecstasy” however it doesn’t share any of the same chemical makeup as ecstasy.
